Fall Leaves

November 12, 2017.

Part three of our four part series of fall colours in Ontario. You can check out part one and two.

Just to recap.  It’s October 2017 and I’m spending the weekend at a friend’s cottage near Buckhorn, ON in the beautiful Kawartha Lakes region.  Thanks Cheryl!

There is a charming little bridge over a small river just down the road from our friend’s cottage along Deer Bay Reach Rd.

I set up my tripods with my iPad and iPhone to experiment recording some scenic video of the pretty, little river running under and next to the bridge.

While the cameras were rolling I decided that I would wander around a little bit take some close-up photos of the fall leaves.

Focusing on the leaves was a lot like looking up at the stars. The more you look, the more you see and realize how many diverse colours, shapes and sizes there are.
